I am reminded by nature today of one of the great laws of matter: forms come and go. I’ve mostly sat at the doorstep of The Body Awake for a three years now, interviewing now and then, but mostly feeling unsure how to tend this garden I’d created. I felt care for the owners of the many email addresses that receive my writings when I send them, and concern if I was beginning something that was too “off brand.” Should I start a new page, or link them, or … or … or … ? But the truth is, this podcast was born of the One Thing I’ve Been Following All Along.
I felt afraid of letting its previous form go, and then I looked outside. Autumn is so different than spring, and yet here it arrives, right on time. To quote one of my teachers, “I don’t know what the next moment will bring. I only know it will arise out of this moment.”
I have lots to say, but I think I’ll take the days to say it, and let you all — wondrous beings you are — be on your way, or steeped along with me as you see fit. Please don’t ever be shy to unsubscribe, nor to stay, or even say hello.
And with that, a first breath. See you soon. LB
